10:30 a.m. -- The sun is shining at Camp Abbey and the campers are having a great time today! The rain subsided late yesterday afternoon and the Bogue Falaya has been dropping since 10:00 p.m. last night. There is no danger of flooding at camp. We are back to normal programming, including the swim meet last night! We will continue to monitor the weather and the Bogue Falaya, but it appears that we will have an uneventful week going forward, from a meteorological perspective.
We hope that these updates have helped you to feel informed about the well being of your campers. We know that the weather in some parts of the state has been more dramatic than we have experienced here at camp this week. Rest assured, that your sons are in responsible hands!
We do not anticipate further weather developments, so we will suspend these updates going forward. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email!
